It seems strange to say this, but we can’t wait to hear the results of this week’s rankings.
First up, the most expensive player in Juventus’ history.
He is not only the most successful player of all time, but also the most valuable. He cost €50 million in 2003, according to Forbes.
The price tag is not far off from the €65 million price tag that was paid for Gonzalo Higuain, and €50.8 million to Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale, who is currently the most popular player in the world.
The player who is most worth buying is, unsurprisingly, Gonzalo.
This has been his main position in his career and he is still playing at the highest level of football.
He has won a Champions League, two La Liga titles, three Copa del Rey trophies, a UEFA Cup and five UEFA Super Cups.
He won the Ballon d’Or in 2015 and this year he was voted the most influential player in football history by the players’ association.
It is no wonder he is so coveted by the club, who have already spent a record €180 million on him.
His current contract is set to expire in 2021, and it is highly unlikely that Juventus will extend it in that period.
There is no way that they will do so, however, given that they have spent far more on other players.
So the question is whether the player is worth it or not.
